Meet Hazel Secco, CFP®, CDFA®, Founder and CEO
From a young age, Hazel learned the weight of financial instability, the burden of uncertainty looming over her family due to her father’s gambling addiction. It shaped her worldview, fueling her obsession with securing stability and avoiding the specter of homelessness, which felt uncomfortably close.
Fresh out of college, Hazel dove headfirst into the world of finance, hustling relentlessly as a financial advisor. Money poured in, and accolades followed, but the true cost began to reveal itself. She was in a constant battle with panic attacks and debilitating anxiety, signaling that the life she was living was unsustainable.
At 27, Hazel reached a breaking point. Despite the facade of success from seemingly having everything—being married and owning a home at a young age—she found herself trapped in a constant fear of losing it all, a haunting echo of childhood financial trauma. But in the moment of despair, she found clarity and determination.
Hazel founded Align Financial Solutions, not just as a business venture, but as a lifeline for women like her—accomplished, driven, but burdened by the relentless pursuit of financial security. Her mission became clear: to empower these superwomen to take control of their finances, to break free from the cycle of fear and exhaustion, and to live lives of abundance!
Through Align Financial Solutions, Hazel offers not just financial guidance, but a pathway to liberation—a chance for women to rewrite their narratives, reclaim their power, and build the lives they truly desire. Hannah brings an enthusiastic commitment to empowering women with financial freedom to our team. She attended SUNY at Cortland with a focus on Finance and Economics. She approaches her work with a dedicated mindset to serve our clients with care and empathy. Hence, her passion and proficiency make her an invaluable asset to our team at Align Financial Solutions.
Outside of work, Hannah resides in Hoboken, NJ. She enjoys listening to podcasts and going for walks with friends along the Hudson River. Also, she loves making new recipes she finds on Tiktok.
